Erika von Hoyer
Erika von Hoyer has an eclectic background that entails market research, branding and reputation strategy. She is responsible for marketing cloud security, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for Evolve IP and through 360 Reputation, an agency she launched in 2008, she serves as an open-source intelligence analyst focused on Enterprise Risk and Reputation Intelligence. In her role as an analyst, she specializes in uncovering and monitoring asymmetric social networks, identifying emerging threats, mapping and quantifying activities of activist/hactivists. During the height of the Occupy Movement, her research was cited by numerous major media outlets (i.e. The Wall Street Journal, Forbes and CIO Insight) and in 2013, she co-authored Avoiding #FAIL: Mitigating Risk, Managing Threats and Protecting the Corporation in the Age of Social Media. She has an Executive M.B.A. degree with a concentration in Systems Thinking through Villanova University, a B.S. from Syracuse University and is a Certified Cyber Intelligence Investigator through the McAfee Institute.
In addition to serving as a governor for the Philadelphia InfraGard, she serves on Villanova’s Executive MBA Alumni Board and is a founding member of TheIntellCommunity.com.
