Conventional signature-based intrusion detection systems have limited ability to detect suspicious activity in these protocols. This presentation is a case study in how PJM, as part of a Department of Energy grant, worked with Boeing and Security Matters to develop and implement a deep protocol behavior inspection system for monitoring ICS communications protocols. |
